From shooting prey at a safe distance to a sign which defines how we move through the world, the text takes a speculative approach to creating an imaginary around the form of the arrow, a form which exists in perpetual motion, forever on it's way to a moving target.

It follows the arrows trajectory through arrowheads, thunderstones, cave paintings, Cy Twombly paintings, compass and watch faces and wind forecasts, with reference to horizons, diagrams, timelines and the fantasy of linear time. And asks the question, what force does the arrow carry with it into the present?
