A new set of maritime signal flags and messages specific to Wells-next-the-Sea and designed in collaboration with year 4 children at the local primary school.
The flags are inspired by local flora and fauna, observed shapes and patterns, and the remembered and imagined past, present and future of the town. Each one has a message communicating something about Wells and the North Sea. Posters are on permanent display throughout shops and cafes in the town, and in the homes of the childrens families.
